1. The rolling shutters provide protection from the harsh summer sun on the south side of the house. In fact, they do such an excellent job in filtering out the hot summer sun that the house actually feels air conditioned during summer. Rarely do we have to use the A/C. Besides adding comfort to the home, the rolling shutters help us decrease energy costs in summer.

2. The rolling shutters provide a similar benefit in winter time helping to decrease heat loss through the windows. The rolling shutters provide additional R-value to prevent heat loss which also help us keep energy costs under control. We also feel that we have increased security during those occasional stormy and windy days from potential damage that could be caused by high winds. All we have to do is to roll down the shutters during storms and that is the end of our concerns.

3. One of the huge benefits of having rolling shutters is the sense of added physical security that they bring to the home. During the evening hours or during periods when we may be away from the house, when the rolling shutters are pulled down, we feel very safe and secure in our home since we believe the rolling shutters provide a deterrent to crime. They are high tech in performance and safety without the need to read through an owner's manual to learn how to operate like one would have to learn about a state-of-the-art security system. One flip of the switch or release of the "pull strap" and the shutters close thereby protecting the house.

4. Increased privacy has been a big benefit as well. During the evening hours, we just close the rolling shutters and it is virtually impossible for anyone to see inside of the house. We use the rolling shutters at night just as much to block out the lights from the street and from passing traffic. No more glare into the bedrooms when one is trying to sleep. Additionally, if one works an evening shift or perhaps would even have a young child in the house, rolling shutters are ideal for the daytime nap since once they are closed, the room is absolutely pitch dark.

I couldn't imagine the house without rolling shutters. To us, they have become an essential item for the home. Of course, we must admit that the service that we have received from All Seasons Shutters has been fantastic. All Seasons Shutters personnel always worked around our schedule and responded promptly per our agreed upon times and dates after we requested service. I could go on about our satisfaction with the rolling shutters we purchased from All Seasons Shutters.
